Do you use positive reinforcement training?

Yes.

Do you use prong collars, e-collars, leash corrections, or intimidation?

No.

Can you help with reactivity, aggression, or behavior challenges?

Yes.

What is the difference between behavior training and life skills training?

Behavior training is for dogs dealing with more specific behavior challenges, big feelings, or patterns that need deeper support.

Life Skills Training is for dogs and owners who want better manners, communication, routines, and everyday skills.

Do virtual dog training sessions really work?

Yes, virtual training can be very helpful, especially for behavior planning, household routines, management, enrichment, and coaching you through what to do at home.

Many behavior changes start with understanding patterns and adjusting the environment, which can be done effectively through virtual support.

How much does training cost?

Behavior Consultations & Modification Training start at $175 for the initial consultation.

Life Skills Training is $500 for 5 sessions.

How long will it take to see progress?

That depends on your dog, the behavior, the environment, and how consistently the plan can be followed.

The focus is on realistic, sustainable progress—not quick fixes or guarantees.

What if I feel embarrassed about my dog’s behavior?

You are not alone, and you will not be shamed.

Many dedicated dog owners seek help because they care deeply and want to do better for their dogs. Spicy Paws focuses on understanding, support, and next steps.

Can you guarantee results?

What Spicy Paws can provide is a compassionate, evidence-informed plan, clear coaching, and support that helps you and your dog move forward.
